Terms of Service for Using the Internet Certificate Issuance Site (http://www.certpia.com) Provided by I&Tech Co., Ltd.

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the conditions of use, general procedures, other necessary matters, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and the User regarding the provision of the Internet Certificate Issuance Service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) by I&Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) in conjunction with schools via the Internet.

Article 2 (Definitions of Terms)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms and Conditions are as follows.

  1. ① 'Company' refers to a virtual place of business established using information and communication facilities, such as computers, to enable the transaction of goods or services in order to provide goods or services to users, and is also used to refer to the business operator operating this virtual place of business.
  2. ② 'Service' refers to the internet certificate issuance service through which a member obtains the certificate they desire via the internet address http://www.certpia.com (hereinafter referred to as the 'Site') provided by the Company.
  3. ③ 'Member' refers to an individual who agrees to these Terms and Conditions to use the Service, enters into a service agreement with the Company, and is assigned a User ID.
  4. ④ 'Member' refers to a member who agrees to these Terms and Conditions to use the Company's service, enters into a service agreement with the Company, and is assigned a user ID. Companies conducting the Company's business may be subject to restrictions on the use of this service.
  5. ⑤ 'User ID' or 'Member ID' refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the Member and assigned by the Company for the identification of the Member and the Member's use of the Service.
  6. ⑥ 'Password' refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the member to verify that the person intending to use the company's service is the same person as the person assigned the user ID, and to protect the member's rights and interests.

Article 3 (Specification and Amendment of Terms and Conditions)

  1. ① The Company shall post the contents of these Terms and Conditions, its name, business address, name of the representative, business registration number, contact information, etc., on the initial screen so that users can be aware of them.
  2. ② The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions to the extent that such amendment does not violate relevant laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Electronic Signature Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.
  3. ③ If the Company amends the Terms and Conditions, it shall specify the effective date and the reason for the amendment, and together with the current Terms and Conditions, announce the amended Terms and Conditions in accordance with the method of Paragraph 1 from 10 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date.
  4. ④ If the Company, while announcing the revised Terms and Conditions pursuant to the preceding paragraph, clearly notifies the Member that failure to express an intent within a 10-day period will be deemed as having expressed an intent, and the Member does not explicitly express a refusal, the Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms and Conditions.
  5. ⑤ If a member expresses their refusal regarding the revised terms and conditions, the Company cannot apply the contents of the revised terms and conditions to that member. In this case, the member may terminate the service agreement, and the Company may terminate the service agreement with the member if there are special circumstances where the existing terms and conditions cannot be applied.

Article 4 (Rules Other than Terms and Conditions)

Matters not stipulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

Article 5 (Formation of Service Contract)

  1. ① The Company’s Service Usage Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Usage Agreement”) is established upon the Company’s acceptance of the application for use (application for membership) by a person who wishes to use the Service and agrees to the contents of these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. However, the “Company” may refuse to accept applications falling under any of the following subparagraphs or may terminate the Usage Agreement subsequently.
    • If a membership applicant has previously lost their membership status under these Terms and Conditions, provided that such exception applies if they have obtained the Company's approval for re-registration.
    • If the name is not real or another person's name is used
    • If false information is entered or the information provided by the 'Company' is not entered
    • In cases where approval is impossible due to reasons attributable to the user, or when the application violates any other stipulated provisions
  2. ② If a person wishing to use the service clicks the 'Agree' button on the website at the time of application, they shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
  3. ③ The time of establishment of the service contract shall be the time when the 'Company' indicates the completion of registration during the application process.
  4. ④ For an application pursuant to Paragraph 1, the Company may request real-name verification and identity authentication through a specialized agency.

Article 6 (Provision, Modification, and Suspension of Services)

  1. ① The Company provides internet certification services that offer the authentication desired by members through the internet site provided by the Company, and unless otherwise specified, the Company operates the service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as a general rule.
  2. ② The Company may change or add services provided due to operational or technical issues or needs, and in the event of such changes or additions, the details and dates will be announced starting 7 days prior to the service provision date.
  3. ③ In providing the Service, the Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in the event of reasons such as system maintenance, inspection, replacement, breakdown, or interruption of communication, and shall notify the Member in the manner prescribed in Article 7. However, if there are unavoidable circumstances where the Company cannot provide prior notice, notice may be provided subsequently.
  4. ④ The Company shall not compensate for damages suffered by the User or a third party due to the temporary suspension of the provision of the Service for the reasons set forth in Paragraph 3.

Article 7 (Notice to Members)

  1. ① When the Company provides notice to a member, it shall be to the email address submitted by the member to the Company.
  2. ② In the case of notification to an unspecified number of members, the Member shall substitute individual notification by posting on the Company’s bulletin board or a pop-up window on the site for at least one week.

Article 8 (Protection of Members' Personal Information)

The Company shall endeavor to protect the personal information of its members. The Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. applies to the protection of members' personal information. However, the Company’s Privacy Policy does not apply to linked sites other than the Company’s official website.

Article 9 (Change of Member Information)

  1. ① Members may view and modify their personal information at any time through the information modification screen. However, real name, ID, etc., which are necessary for service management, cannot be modified.
  2. ② If the information provided at the time of membership application changes, the member must update it online or notify the company of the change via email or other means.
  3. ③ The Company shall not be responsible for any disadvantages arising from failure to notify the Company of the changes under Paragraph 2 and make the changes.

Article 10 (Obligations of the Company)

  1. ① The Company shall make its best efforts to provide the Service continuously and stably in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. ② If the Company deems a complaint received from a Member regarding the Service to be legitimate, it shall process it immediately upon receipt; however, if immediate processing is difficult, the Company shall notify the Member of the reason and processing schedule through the service screen or other means.
  3. ③ The Company retains payment information related to paid payments for at least one year. However, members who do not meet the membership qualification are exempt.
  4. ④ The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the interruption of the Service due to unforeseen events, such as natural disasters, or system failures. However, the Company shall have the obligation to do its best to restore data or provide normal service support.

Article 11 (Duties of Members)

  1. ① Members shall comply with relevant laws and regulations, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and other matters notified by the Company, and shall not engage in any acts that interfere with the Company's business.
  2. ② For paid services applied for by a member, a creditor-debtor relationship is established with the Company simultaneously with registration or application, and the member must pay the fees for such services within the designated deadline.
  3. ③ If a member uses a credit card as a payment method, the member is responsible for managing the prevention of information loss, such as passwords. However, liability for information loss caused by defects in the site shall not be a duty of the member.
  4. ④ Members may not use information obtained through the use of the service by copying, reproducing, translating, publishing, broadcasting, or other methods, or provide it to others without the Company's prior consent.
  5. ⑤ Members shall not use this Service for any purpose other than a sound purpose, and shall not engage in any of the following acts while using it.
    • The act of fraudulently using another member's ID
    • Acts intended for criminal purposes or related to other criminal acts
    • Acts of defaming or insulting the company or others
    • Acts that infringe upon the rights of the company and others, such as intellectual property rights
    • Hacking or virus distribution
    • The act of continuously transmitting certain content, such as advertising information, against the will of others.
    • Acts deemed to hinder or risk hindering the stable operation of the service
    • Commercial activities using the site's information and services
    • Other acts that harm good morals or other social order, or violate relevant laws and regulations

Article 12 (Restriction on Use/Termination of Subscription)

  1. ① Members may apply for termination of the service agreement at any time via the membership withdrawal menu on the initial service screen or by telephone through the Customer Center, and the Company shall immediately comply with such request in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. However, when applying for membership termination by telephone, personal information such as Member ID, password, and date of birth will be verified.
  2. ② In the following cases, the 'Company' may take measures to terminate the subscription or suspend the service without prior consent.
    • When a member violates their obligations
    • When social controversy arises due to the use of information in fields unsuitable for the purpose of this service
    • When the content of the information registered by a member is different from the facts or is manipulated
    • Other cases where the reputation of this service is defamed
  3. ③ If the same act is repeated two or more times or the cause is not corrected within 30 days after the Company has restricted or suspended membership, the Company may revoke membership.
  4. ④ If the Company revokes membership, it shall cancel the membership registration. In this case, the Company shall notify the member.
  5. ⑤ If normal service is not provided due to the Company's responsibility while a member is using the paid service, the member may request termination of the service, and the Company shall calculate the number of days of use until the termination date based on the daily rate and refund the amount used.
  6. ⑥ If membership is cancelled, the company must delete all information of the member concerned.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. ① The Company and the Member shall make all necessary efforts to amicably resolve any disputes arising in connection with the Service.
  2. ② Notwithstanding the efforts under Paragraph 1, if the dispute is not resolved amicably, a lawsuit shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Article 14 (Provision of Information and Placement of Advertisements)

  1. ① The 'Company' may provide the 'Member' with various information deemed necessary during the 'Member's' use of the 'Service' through methods such as announcements or email. However, the 'Member' may refuse to receive emails at any time, except for transaction-related information and responses to customer inquiries in accordance with relevant laws.
  2. ② If the information referred to in Paragraph 1 is to be transmitted via telephone or fax machine, it shall be transmitted after obtaining the prior consent of the 'Member.' However, this shall not apply to transaction-related information of the 'Member' and replies to customer inquiries, etc.
  3. ③ The 'Company' may place advertisements on service screens, the homepage, emails, etc., in connection with the operation of the 'Service.' 'Members' who receive emails containing advertisements may opt out of receiving such emails by notifying the 'Company.'
